A Message to the Black Hills Veterans Writing Group
We count you as friends because of what you have sacrificed, what you have endured and remembered, and what you will tell us all.
Please feel free to call on us for information, a tour of the cemetery, benefit information, or other issues at any time. We also perform benefit briefings and history talks to groups of all sizes and ages. Please let us know if a talk about Veteransí benefits or the history of the cemetery would be something the group may be interested in hearing.
On a personal note, my background is a BA in Warfare History and Literature (my Magna Cum Laude Honors Thesis was Soldier-Poets of World War I) and a Masters Degree in Land Warfare, Iíve been working with VA for over 10 years, Iím an avid reader of military arts and history, and I always learn from listening to the experiences of those baptized by combat as I help explain military experiences to grieving families. Sadly, not enough Veterans tell their families of their experiences before itís too late.
If I or my staff may ever be of assistance, please donít hesitate to contact us.
