I guess that most of us South Dakota boys keep updated on the Hills through the Journal.  Noticed your site and think you are doing a service to the vets.  I grew up in Keystone SD and enlisted in the USMC in 1953 and spent the next 30 years in the Corps. I retired in 1983 and visit the Black Hills most every year. (You can take the boy out of the hills, but not the hills out of the boy.).
I had two tours in Vietnam in 1967 and 1968.  On my second tour I was hit pretty seriously and medevaced to the Philippines and on to the USNH Long Beach, Ca.  I recovered from my wounds and subsequently retired as a CWO-3.  My GFather/Father and all my Uncles worked on Mt Rushmore during the 30s and 40s and I still call Keystone my home town.  If I remember correctly almost every young man in the 50s from Keystone joined the Marine Corps.  
Most of my cousins and best friends still live in the Keystone/Rapid City area.  Judson, Grover, Alexander, Valdez, Eckert and a host from Hill City and Rapid City.  I'm sure you could start a Marine Corps League without too much effort in the Black Hills area.
