Ozv\u011bny americk\u00e9 ob\u010dansk\u00e9 v\u00e1lky st\u00e1le vzn\u00e1\u0161ely se ve vzduchu a p\u0159\u00edb\u011bhy state\u010dn\u00fdch mu\u017e\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed bojovali a zem\u0159eli na gettysburgsk\u00fdch boji\u0161t\u00edch, se mi vryly do pam\u011bti. Ale uprost\u0159ed p\u0159\u00edb\u011bh\u016f o state\u010dnosti a ob\u011btavosti jsem si za\u010dal kl\u00e1st ot\u00e1zku: co \u017eeny, kter\u00e9 sehr\u00e1ly roli v t\u00e9to kl\u00ed\u010dov\u00e9 bitv\u011b? Konkr\u00e9tn\u011b gettysburgsk\u00e9 sv\u016fdnice, kter\u00e9 mohly ovlivnit b\u011bh d\u011bjin.<\/p>\n<p>Bitva u Gettysburgu byla zlomov\u00fdm bodem ve v\u00e1lce, st\u0159etem mezi silami Unie a Konfederace, kter\u00fd nakonec rozhodl o osudu n\u00e1roda. Kdy\u017e jsem se hloub\u011bji pono\u0159ila do historick\u00fdch knih, zjistila jsem, \u017ee v bitv\u011b skute\u010dn\u011b hr\u00e1ly v\u00fdznamnou roli \u017eeny, z nich\u017e n\u011bkter\u00e9 byly zn\u00e1m\u00e9 sv\u00fdm \u0161armem a p\u0159esv\u011bd\u010dovac\u00edmi schopnostmi.<\/p>\n<h2>\u017deny v z\u00e1kulis\u00ed<\/h2>\n<p>Zat\u00edmco mu\u017ei bojovali na front\u011b, \u017eeny jako Frances Bixbyov\u00e1 a Sarah Broadheadov\u00e1 poskytovaly voj\u00e1k\u016fm \u00fat\u011bchu a podporu.
