L&#039;arm\u00e9e mamelouke, command\u00e9e par Ba\u00efbars et son fid\u00e8le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Qutuz, affronta la horde mongole men\u00e9e par Kitbouqa, un lieutenant de confiance de Hulagu Khan.<\/p>\n<p>La bataille fut intense et les deux camps subirent de lourdes pertes.
